Direct reversal of Mayor LaMore's June 15 appointment of James Vasselli. Mayor LaMore was absent and declared the meeting illegally called (disputing compliance with Village Code §1.6-3's special-meeting call procedure). Trustee Barry attended only long enough to read a statement declaring the meeting illegal, then left. Trustee Vaughn did not attend. Trustee Gesky asserted a member's right to add the item once the meeting was legitimately called, noting a signed printed agenda (bearing Mayor LaMore's own signature) had been posted at Village Hall within the required 48-hour window.
