Why We Did This
With data center development expanding across Illinois, we wanted to know: has any municipality in Kankakee County signed a non-disclosure agreement, incentive deal, or any other agreement related to data center development? We filed identical FOIA requests with all 22 municipalities in the county on July 8-9, 2026.
Under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, public bodies have 5 business days to respond. This page will be updated as responses come in. All responses are published verbatim.
