The Kankakee River Valley Regatta returns to the Kankakee River for Labor Day weekend 2026. Three days of APA championship powerboat racing featuring classes F150, F200, SST 45, SST 60, SST 120, VP 75, and MOD U. Friday testing & Fan Fest, Saturday qualifying & heats, Sunday championship finals. Free admission; parking passes required Sat-Sun. Food trucks and beer tent. Named 2025 APA Race Site of the Year. Secured through 2029.
