Where these numbers come from
- Kankakee County Clerk, official election night results site. This is the number of record, and what every race below shows.
- Daily Journal live results article. We read its tallies too, and if the Daily Journal ever shows newer numbers than the Clerk feed we just pulled, we re-pull the Clerk feed and flag that race.
This page checks the sources about every 30 seconds while anyone has it open, and refreshes itself every minute. Totals include early voting, mail ballots counted so far and Election Day precincts. Mail ballots that arrive after Election Day and provisional ballots are counted in the days after, so close races can change. Results become official when the county canvasses the vote.
Bourbonnais Twp. precincts adds up the precincts the Clerk labels Bourbonnais 1 and up. They cover Bourbonnais Township, which includes the Village of Bourbonnais and most of Bradley. It is a neighborhood view, not an official result.
