minimum front setback for buildings in the B-1 and B-2 districts along Main Street (10 ft for parking), with 25,000 sf minimum lots and 100 ft of frontage. Neither district allows any housing type, though senior living and hotels are allowed. A walkable, mixed-use Main Street would need a rezoning or a planned development under today's code. Tap any parcel for its district's rules.

Businesses and the development pipeline come from The Bourbs' own directories (restaurants, shopping, services and Coming Soon). Some businesses are placed at the nearest matching address on their street and are labeled "approximate." Home listings are a July 2026 snapshot of public listing data. Elevation and building heights: U.S. Geological Survey 3D Elevation Program lidar, project IL_10CountyNRCS_D23, flown December 2023 to March 2024; ground elevation is the 1-meter bare-earth model at each parcel's center (feet above sea level, NAVD88); a building's height is the top of its roof returns minus the ground around it, so trees over a small roof can add a few feet. The 1939 aerial is 21 USDA photos from July 1939 in the Illinois State Geological Survey's Illinois Historical Aerial Photography collection, aligned to today's roads by The Bourbs (typical error about 5 meters).

Crash points carry no report numbers or personal details. The downtown study area is the boundary the Village set for its 2026 downtown master-plan study.
